DOES HOT TREE SELF-PUBLISHING TAKE A CUT OF THE AUTHOR'S ROYALTIES?
Absolutely not.
We provide a service that will enable you to self-publish. You retain all of the rights and royalties of your novel. We are NOT a vanity press.
WHAT EXACTLY IS INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGE?
Our self-publishing package includes multiple levels of editing, cover design, promotional graphics, book formatting, and promotional support. See individual pages for the specific breakdown.
CAN I USE MY OWN DESIGNER/EDITOR/FORMATTER?
No. The whole purpose of our self-publishing package is to provide every level of service needed so you are able to self-publish. Each industry professional is experienced and provides quality support and service.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
The cost of the package depends on your word count grouping. e.g. a 40-60,000 word manuscript will cost less than a 60-80,000 word manuscript package.
ARE THERE ANY MORE CHARGES?
No. The cost of your package is a fixed price and will not change. We do have access to additional services you may choose to opt on at discounted prices, but these are optional extras.
DO I HAVE TO PAY UP FRONT?
To secure a package, a contract will need to be signed and a $300.00 refundable* deposit secured. Once the schedule has been organised and dates are in place, the full payment is to be made within 72 hours of your scheduled content edit date.

WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO OR PROVIDE?
Your busiest role will be in design decisions when you'll work closely with your designer, and during the multiple levels of editing and rewrites should they be needed.
Our package is a partnership. Together we will arrange realistic dates and schedule services for every aspect of the package. You will have full input and control over every design, edit, and format. Nothing happens without your approval.
You will need to provide an e-book and paperback ISBN, which we can provide guidance for should you need support. You will also be responsible for uploading your paperback to print and sales channels, and your e-book to your selected sales channels. Guidance can be provided should you need the support.
CAN YOU GUARANTEE I'LL BE A BEST SELLER?
Unfortunately no, and nobody can promise you as such.
DO YOU WORK ON ANTHOLOGIES?
Absolutely. The same process is followed. The only slight change would be the cover design, which would be specifically a box set cover. Individual covers for each author's story can be an optional extra.
